What is the best dedicated hosting plan?

I plan on purchasing an unmanaged hosting plan and would like to know the best hosting provider ? Has anyone experience with Go Daddy Hosting ?

3. I use GoDaddy shared hosting and it has been fine for me. I have not used their dedicated hosting.

For dedicated hosting you should really consider using VPS Hosting or VMware Hosting like at http://www.criticalops.com.au/virtualisation.html or http://www.criticalops.com.au/vmwareindex.html These provide a "virtual" server with all the benefits of a dedicated server at a fraction of the cost. Be sure you have adaquate security and backups - my former provider said yes but didn't!
