whats a free web hosting service that has no banners or ads?? I dont like geocities because of their ads. I dont know of too many. Any suggestions?

I highly doubt there is any free hosting service out there that does not have ads or banners due to the fact that the reason that it is free is because of the profit generated from the ads. To my knowledge there is no free hosting service that does not have some sort of drawback like ads or something other than a ".com" extension.
Free webhosting is not stable. You may face on data lost, privacy problem and a lot of ads with freehostings. I use hostlgator and it is cheap but stabale hosting . 6.9/month With a coupon code , you can use their hosting for almost free, $0.01 the first month

You can try free blog hosting. they don't place banner on your site. But your site would be branded in such a way that it will look like you have hosted that on there server There are hosting service who provide inefficient control panel and lots of T & C on you. It's better to move to a cheap hosting where you can have full control on it. You can create any type of website using CMS script in 5 minutes. There are a bunch of free hosts listed that do not have ads on http://www.thefreehosts.com x10Hosting and hostrator are good but you have to keep in mind with free hosting you get what you pay for as far as reliability :) If you are hosting for personal use ok but for business I don't recommend using free hosting. http://www.hostingplanrebates.com has deals on paid hosting that bring the cost down to as little as a dollar a month.
