Our current host is not cheap and not expensive and is down far too much to be suitable for running an online store. The problem is that all hosting companies that I see all guarantee 99.6% uptime, but when I try to research them online, there is very little information and I know that what they say cant be true because our current host says the same thing. Which hosting companies allow DNS CName aliases to be used? I have registered two domain names with GoDaddy. The first domain is now online, hosted by a company in the UK. For the second domain I entered a CName record to point the second one to the first. My hosting company does not seem to support this though :-( I get an error page from the hosting company that states "Site not found". The first domain works fine.
